its no different, its you either playing on an easier level, or your getting better at hitting.

Re: Batting After The Patch

Well, I can't agree 100%. Before the patch I was getting contact at about the same amount as after the patch. The difference I feel is that I am getting more "oomph" on the ball. In other words I feel like I hit more shots into the gap, more shots down the line and definitely a few more homers too. I like it because before the patch I felt like I was hitting with a balsa wood bat and had no power. Keep in mind, power doesn't mean homeruns to me....I just mean hitting with authority....more hard liners and shots compared to dribblers and weak stuff prior to the patch. I chose 2k9 over The Show last year simply because hitting felt more rewarding and fun. Before the patch I was really disappointed in the feel of the hitting in 2k10 but now it feels more like last year to me.

Re: Batting After The Patch

So,

I just played my second game v. Texas as the Jays in franchise mode. I hit 6 home runs in the game. i did notice that the computers pitches started to really flatten out and were easy to pick up. Is anyone using any other sliders to making the hitting more difficult?

Re: Batting After The Patch

I have contact at 30, power at 45. Not too many homers, but I do get 12+ hits a game usually. Strike out a ton, of course.
