Constant Unresponsiveness?

It seems like more and more often i'll be playing and the game will end and the game will simply stop responding at a loading screen or right after it shows the player of the game. Also, sometimes when I first boot into the game and am at the "press start" spashscreen with Joe Mauer, the game will go unresponsive and come back a minute or so later. Is anyone else experiencing this? I want to know if I should go exchange disks as this isn't happening with any other games. I just had a nice three hit game that I'm now going to lose because the game is stuck at the "player of the game" screen. I'm still able to access the XMB and the background is even moving but I simply can't do anything.

I've not seen that at all.

I deleted and am now reinstalling my game data, probably something got corrupted during the installation.
