Bryce Brown leaves Tennessee

http://www.miamiherald.com/2010/03/1...tennessee.html

Quote:
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Running back Bryce Brown left the Tennessee program on the first day of the Volunteers' spring practice, coach Derek Dooley said.

Dooley said Brown told him Thursday that he was dealing with family and personal problems that included "some of the reasons why he came here." Brown was not present for practice.

"I was a little surprised, but you can only control what you can control," Dooley said. "He went through the entire offseason, but I also think that this wasn't something from the last three weeks. But I'm not here to recruit. I'm here to coach."

The Wichita, Kan., native averaged 38.3 yards in 12 games as a freshman in 2009.

Kept hearing this was going to happen. I`m assuming he will end up out at Kansas State.

Bye bye. I'll continue to say he's not as good as advertised.

Turns out it was just one of the hostesses finding his spot.

Re: Bryce Brown leaves Tennessee

I wonder if he is going to try to pull a Tashard Choice in effort to get his eligibility to play this year from the NCAA. He's already playing the family problem card which we all know is PROBABLY just smoke and mirrors, but it will be interesting to watch it unfold.

Why wouldn't he? He should.
