2K Beats/Custom Music In-Game?

How do I get the playlist from my Hard Drive to play in-game during specific situations? I've selected the music in the Ballpark Tunes feature and have turned down the volume on 2K Beats and turned UP the volume on my Custom Music in the presentation settings. However, it's still not playing. Any idea?

Are you playing a franchise? If so, the only way I have gotten it to work is if I start a franchise after I have set up all the music. If you set up the music after you started your franchise it won't play

Yes, the custom music has been a real pain for me. I finally just gave up. In fact, not only wouldn't it play, the game itself wouldn't play correctly with custom music selected... When online we would continually get a "network error" in the bottom of the first inning. When the custom music was taken out the game played properly.

I thought the custom music was such a cool idea...until I tried it. It's like they never tested that part of the game.. Not sure if it's something they can/will fix but they should... not sure how they would expect to build confidence in their games if they offer options that aren't there or do not work.

That said, I do like the game and most of it's play....

I used custom music in MLB Today and it works just fine. However, I learned after 3 freezing franchises that turning custom music off fixes the franchise freezing. Not a big deal to me. After playing with no music, I would rather play it that way. But it does suck for people who enjoy it.
