Edit CPU Lineups in Franchise

I started a Franchise where I control the Cubs, Marlins, Twins, and Orioles.

My last game with the Marlins was against the Phillies at CB. Contreras is cruising with a shut out in the 9th. He gives up a 1 out single to Ramirez. They bring in Madson. Madson gives up a hit to Cantu, so I figure they go to Lidge right? Wrong....in comes Jamie Moyer!

After the game I go to the Phillies rotation to edit Lidge back into the closers role. Not happening even though I have the option to edit CPU lineups in the Franchise Options screen enabled.

Is this broken?

I think that option is if you want to edit players attribues on cpu controlled teams, not to edit lineups or pitching rotations. Moyer is their closer in my franchise too, and Victorino bats 7th

You can't even edit CPU lineups in the exhibition "Play Ball" games. Or choosing opposing pitcher.

Victorino probably will bat 7th most days, so that's not odd, but Moyer closing is ridiculous.

1 - Rollins
2 - Polanco
3 - Utley
4 - Howard
5 - Werth
6 - Ibanez
7 - Victorino
8 - Ruiz

I started another franchise last night where I control all of the teams. Of course Moyer was the closer until I changed that, but their lineup is so loaded you can almost make case for anyone to batting anywhere in that lineup except Ruiz. They're just loaded.

Judging by your avatar, I guess you would know better than me where he will bat, fyi, here is the lineup they had
Rollins
Werth
Utley

yeah, this is goofy - Werth is an RBI guy (99 last year), he will be behind Howard. Plus he splits the two lefties. I mean things can always change based on slumps and whatnot - like Rollins was moved down last year when he was really struggling early, but the lineup I put up is the planned lineup. They talked quite a bit about Polanco in the 2 hole when they signed him.

Yeah, it's basically an AL lineup and there aren't any holes. Even Ruiz, even though his year end numbers are so-so, has been pretty clutch. He had a nice playoff numbers the last three years and is great defensively.

The thing about the Phils, people talk about the ballpark, but they have almost identical home/road splits as a team. Yes, we may see some cheapy line drive HRs at CBP, but you also have the Phils launching some too.
