I set the pickoff slider all the way down and changed nothing else that has to do with baserunning.

even with my slow runners, if i just take one extra step the pitcher trys to pick him off every single time, to the point that i can't even take a step for the game to continue.

is there a fix for this? am i better off setting the pickoff slider to default?

Don't take an extra step lead unless you have a real deal baserunner ( Reyes or Figgins type) , i would say. The default lead is a "normal" lead.
