Video of pinpoint accurate meter pitching with Carlos Marmol

As you can see by the video, Carlos Marmol is far too accurate with his fastball using meter pitching. I have the pitcher consistency slider as low as it goes, and still pinpoint accuracy for a pitcher that doesn't know the zip code for where his fastball will land in real life. I wasn't pitching quite as good as I usually do because to capture the video, I have to play on my computer monitor; I can usually hit the sweet spot a bit more often.

Even when my pitch doesn't go where I want it, it still goes in a good place. For example, if I aim for the inside corner and my pitcher decides to miss, 9 out of 10 times (I kid you not) my pitcher throws the ball right on the outside corner.
Check out 2:02 on the video. I aimed for the high inside corner, Marmol missed, but threw it right on the high outside corner. So when you do in fact miss by a lot, you miss on the corner of the plate anyways.

I don't see the problem, you were nailing the pitching marker perfectly each time and therefore you were hitting your spots for the most part, which is the way Meter is designed. It's not like Marmol is a horrible pitcher or anything anyway.

He has 93 K's in 74 IP and 60 walks with a 3.xx ERa...he must be doing something right.

I get the feeling that if they "fixed" it, you (or others) would be complaining that it's too inaccurate.

With that said, I play on Classic and enjoying it a lot. I was never a fan of Meter and can't imagine myself ever using anyway. Classic is the way to go.

Not sure how much you really expected to miss by. Half the pitches you threw was not exactly where you aimed. They were generally close of course but they definitely were not pinpoint. Add in that your using the marker and very good at hitting the line, of course they are close.

I use outfield view for pitching, i am certain the meter is smaller in that view which should make it a tad harder.

I still do not see where the feature is broken no matter how much you think it is. Its not pinpoint despite the fact your very good at hitting the line. Also, since you don't have to use the feature its a moot point.

Sports video game forums over use the term "broken"...i swear if i didn't know any better and just read the forums (whether it was Madden, Live, 2k10, The Show etc.) every single slider or feature has been called "broken" at one point or another
