Up and Under

How do you do the Up and Under down in the post? I've been trying it with Dirk in practice mode, doing what the on-screen instructions tell me to do. I pump faked, and then right after that I move the shot stick to the side I want to finish on, but he always just gos back for a jump shot. I even tried moving the shot stick in the middle of the pump fake, but that just completely stops the pump fake animation and Dirk just shoots a jump shot. So I'm lost on how to perform this move, could anyone help?

Re: Up and Under

Ok a lot of people have had the same problem your talking about. The best suggestion I've seen of the pass few months. Is to use the shoot button instead of the shotstick. My little sister use to have this same problem. She started on the shoot button. Moved up to the stick a few days ago.

Re: Up and Under

I suggest you start out easy. No left triggers or right sticks at first. Lets just get the basics down.

When you are in the post with or without a dribble simply double tap the shoot button.

I have trouble using the right stick as well. By the way, I play from the broadcast view so that might be causing some of my RS problems.

Re: Up and Under

I don't know if there is a major differences. I use the 2k camera. I always feel as though the 2k camera has a bette feel of left and right.

Then why would you make a thread asking about how to do an up and under? I was just trying to help you out. If you already know how to play and do an up and under then thats great.

Just because I'm having trouble performing one move means I can't play a whole game?
