Pinch Hitting Glitch/Problem

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but I just had something come up again that happened to be the day of release. I though I may have accidentally done it on the first day so I ignored it, but this time I know I didn't.

So here's the problem, I was playing with the Mariners during spring training and I wanted to get my other catchers some playing time so I Pinch hit Josh Bard for Rob Johnson, everything's fine and dandy, but then I go to field in the next inning and Renteria hits it to right field and instead of Ichiro, it somehow has Cesar Jimenez out their playing in the field. How does this happen?? Ichiro was scheduled to leadoff the next inning, I don't know if that somehow has anything to do with it. Jimenez wasn't even on the mound though. I really don't understand why or how this has happened?

Has anyone else encountered this, was it mentioned in the 2k patch thread? Is their a fix?
