Here is text from the forum....

As announced on Twitter, a patch has been sent to Microsoft. That's one of the reasons I asked for feedback immediately, so we could get an update out in advance of Opening Day. I will provide full notes when I have them, but I have been told by dev that a few of the things requested in the feedback were put into the patch. They worked around the clock to get as much packed into this patch as possible, so I think the team for their hard work here. Thanks.

Ronnie

sounds like it will be a pretty quick turnaround which is great. I made it about 3 pages into the patch wants list and lost interest! There is a lot of nitpicky tiny issues (which are really important depending on who you are), but for me, the only one's that I really care about are:

1) fix the crazy fielder throwing speed
2) fix the pitcher stamina reset
3) I must be the only one around that used curser hitting last year and loved it. It made the game extremely tough, but rewarding to hit a solid shot or to trace that 12-6 and launch it out of the yard. Am I the only one that misses this?

Some would say that it makes for less realistic averages and stats, but if you saw how many times I could botch an at bat using curser, you would see that I can create realistic (if not sub-par) stats no problem!

I know that it most likely won't be in the patch, but wanted to give curser hitting a shout out.

That guy has the most obnoxious background. And what's the meaning of asking what's in it!! It's a patch. You need to know nothing more than that!! Ingrate!!

Uh, I'd love a list of what is included in the patch.

Re: 360 Patch soon

Wow, i'm happy that they're getting it out so quickly, but now I'm worried that it's almost TOO quickly and I hope they didn't overlook anything. On the other hand though, it seems that they've been working on this patch for awhile before the game even came out, since they mentioned a week or so before the release they were going to add check swings and they even posted a video showing them in action.

I just hope that this is a good patch, especially if it's the last one we're going to get.

Re: 360 Patch soon

It'll of course only be small things but ignoring the major fundamental flaws in the game.

Great.

Re: 360 Patch soon

I don't know what 2k's priorities are for this patch, but.....

number 1 should be to fix the stamina, throwing arm strength and statistic glitches (RBIs being miscredited on sac flies, etc).
--The throwing arms needs to be fixed with more than just a ratings adjustment. Lowering all the players arm strenght attributes to 70 won't do any good when you get a draft class and start incorporating them.

number 1a should be to make sure that errors and injuries work correctly.

These are critical for gameplay. After that.....

I hope they find a way to make hitting your spots with the pitching more difficult, make it harder for the CPU to pick you off, and avoid putting any new bugs in the game.

That's a lot to ask, I know. But that's what's really needed right now.
