Best Hitting Camera/View : Final Verdict

I find it very hard to hit in the this game. I play on all-star and I try to be patient but on average I draw just 1 walk per game!

Let's take a vote and see what batting people find best!

Yep, I don't ever walk myself. If it's anywhere near the plate, I'm swinging. And, since I always guess the pitch as well as the location, if any of the two are right, or both, I'm swinging. I didn't buy this game to watch and hope that pitches go by out of the strike zone.

I just find it very hard to hit on All-Star. I don't move the analog and timing is the toughest thing for me. I am usually late on fastballs because I wait and see if they are going to break out of the zone or if there are going to be off-speed pitches. I tend to swing at a lot of balls and I was looking for this poll to serve as some advice!

Well, if it's any help, here's what I do and as long as I stick to it and don't get impatient/frustrated I'll usually draw 2-4 walks per game. I use catcher view first of all but then, if there are no strikes I'm guessing pitch type and location and I'm only swinging if I guess both right (unless it's 3-0, I never give myself the green light). If I have one strike I'm guessing location only and if I only swing if I guess the right zone. Once at 2 strikes I'm then in protecting mode but doing it this way makes it to where you only have to have a good eye for one strike instead of 3. The one downfall, you will find yourself in alot of 0-2 and 1-2 counts, especially early in the game but usually if you can stick with it you'll eventually start getting some good pitches to hit as well as borderline calls.

I've gone back and forth with Wide and Offset. Decided on Wide...

OP, the fact is that what works best for the majority of people may not be what works best for you. So I'd ignore your poll results, and go with your ACTUAL results.

Some say they read low pitches better on Wide, some say no. Some say they read the ball coming from the pitcher's hand on one view or another. Some bat from Outfield view.
