Cleveland Indians Batting Helmets.

Why do they have the Road helmets for Home? The home helmets have a Red bill.

I'll give you the answer that you will soon get... they have to follow the MLB style guide. Which, in my opinion is crap. No one seems to be able to find anything about what the MLB style guide actually shows. The Cubs have the incorrect away helmets. In the game they have a red bill. In real life the Cubs no longer wear the red billed hats OR helmets, at home OR on the road. I think the MLB style guide is a cop-out. I think SCEA has just missed this things and for some reason hasn't addressed them. I've tried to check the MLB style guide and I can't ever get access to it. I'd like to see where it shows the Cubs away helmets having red bills.

Huge annoyance year after year. Don't think this will ever be fixed.

Yes, they have stated numerous times that they can't stray from the style guide. Cop-out or not, it is what it is.

Now if they could some how implement the "mix-n-match" feature as Madden and NCAA did, then this argument would cease. Let's hope for MLB '11.

Re: Cleveland Indians Batting Helmets.

This subject has been covered in the Impressions and Bugs/Glitches threads. The answer weather people like it or not is that SCEA goes by the MLB style guide. It is what it is.
