CH2K6, CH2K7, & CH2K8.......How Do They Compare?

Well guys it's March again and the Madness itch has officially started for me. I love CH2K8 (PS3) and play it year round, but here lately I've grown a little bored with it. I've been considering picking up an older version just for a little change. I've tried EASports efforts at college basketball and just come away feeling as if something is missing when playing, so that's not really an option for me anymore. So in saying that, what are some of your impressions and pros/cons of CH2K6 & CH2K7, and how do they compare to CH2K8? I never played 2K6, and hardly remember 2K7, so any thoughts or impressions would help me out.

I've been trying to get 2k8..I went to 2 Gamestops..
they didnt have it..
I guess I'll be going back to 2k7

Really? I was at a Gamestop last night and they had 3 copies for $9.00 for the 360 & 2 for the PS3. Have you tried Ebay?

crques, I also own CH2k7 on PS3 (as well as CH2k8 obviously) but I never play it anymore as 2k8 is better. What I did like about 2k7 is you've got that dominant Florida team (Noah, Horford, Brewer, Green, etc) & Durant is just a beast for Texas. Ohio State has Oden and Conley too.

Aside from that, I found the framerate issues a lot more prevalent in CH2k7 than 2k8, so that was my major issue with it.

Haven't played 2k6 so couldn't say either way sorry.

Yeah I'm serious. As a matter of fact, I went to another Gamestop here in WV a few hours ago and they had 2 copies for the 360. If you want to PM me, maybe I could pick one up for you and mail it.

My opinion is that 2K8 is quite superior to 2K7 (I didn't play 2K6 on the 360).

Ohh sorry...didn't see that you said you already have 2k8 ops:

I'd say rather than getting a new game, just take a week or two off, play some other games, and then come back once the tourney starts and rekindle your love for 2k8 all over again.

ehh has a great tribute where he talks a bit about 2k6. Maybe ask him about it.
