Most frustrating aspect of defense in 2k10 for me

I don't know if this is due to the sliders I'm using, or something in the game itself but it seems like the teammate AI will always step up to defend the player with the ball and disregard players cutting to the basket.

On almost any fast break or drive from the top of the key if I'm defending the opposing team's point guard and he gets a step on me my big men will always step up far too early leaving players open for wide open dunks/layups. Is there a way to prevent this? Realistically if a player is going to help I'd prefer it be a defender from the wing sag in so my point guard can recover instead of a big man giving up an open shot from under the basket

Yep, and it happens when a player has a ball in the post. One of the wing players will automatically double-team the post player, leaving three-point shooters wide open. Annoying as f---. It has to be the game itself, because I always set double-teams to 'Never' in my menu settings.

Add me on that list of "frustrating as hell" for that.

The most frustrating part for me is probably when i press lock on D and my player runs past the guy with the ball allowing an easy shot or layup.

All of the sliding around drives me crazy.

Its the one thing about the NBA2k series that drives me nuts.

The most frustrating thing for me is when i switch off the player i'm guarding the CPU will make the person i just switched off cut to the basket which usually results in a wide open shot at the basket.

For me its the "quick sand" feet defense. When I'm playing defense on the perimeter the player I'm controlling feels like he doesn't slide his feet fast enough, and he moves in slow motion. After a few posessions of this I always switch to defending the Center or PF. Apex did a few videos on this and how the AI takes control over the human defense.

..and that quick-sand movement kills you against the top PGs. That's why I switch to the C or PF too.
