Players Stances and Windups

I know there was a whole thread for 2k8 dedicated to giving players correct stances instead of the stupid looking generic ones, and same goes for windups.

I don't have the game yet, but if we could get a nice list going showing what stances and windups would be best for players that don't have a sig stance that would be awesome.

Re: Players Stances and Windups

Very good idea. So I decided to start out with the Braves:

Nate McLouth - Dustin Pedroia (a little too much wiggle, but it looks to be the closest one)
Martin Prado - Jack Cust (Scott Rolen is pretty good too)
Yunel Escobar - This one is tough. For now, I'm gonna say Hideki Matsui (he's in a crouch, but not too deep, has his hands up, isn't open), but I'm not sold on this one.
Matt Diaz - Ryan Freel (There's nothing like Diaz, but Freel is closest)
Eric Hinske - Mark Teahen
David Ross - Harmon Killebrew
Jordan Schafer - Rick Ankiel
Barbaro Canizares - Jermaine Dye
Jason Heyward - Gary Matthews
Brooks Conrad - Todd Helton
Mitch Jones - Omar Vizquel
Joe Thurston - Mark Teahen
Clint Sammons - Michael Young
Diory Hernandez - Adrian Beltre
Freddie Freeman - Chris Duncan

Re: Players Stances and Windups

I just came on with a similar suggestion. Should we make a thread with fixes for other random player edits such as correct pitches and accessories batting stances windups basically a general roster authentication thread? Or if its cool with the OP can we change the title of this thread, unless you prefer to have a dedicated one for windups. I think that would be pretty sweet cause I was looking at some Chi Sox players and some had some pitches I thought were wrong.

For example I thought Buehrle had a sinker. I may be wrong though.

Yeah we can just do that in here. If you think a pitcher is missing a pitch or has a different pitch then the ones given just put the player and what pitches he should be given (along with the rating you think the pitch is).

I also saw that Joey Votto has Brandon Woods' stance so it is good to know that 2k tried to give players the correct stance.

Yeah, I went to edit Rob Quinlan's stance to Stephen Drew's, but 2k beat me to it! btw, Anyone know what happened to Dave Robert's batting stance? I was going give Reggie Willit's his stance, but I couldn't find it, so I settled for Alex Rios.
