Jumpshoot animations need to be revamped for 2k11

This is the first year that jumpshots are horrible. There is no measureable release for any player and its mostly luck that the shot goes in. The only consistant shot animations are the button tap like dirks.I played a game of 2k8 and realized that shot animations were a perfect speed in that game even faster than 2k9. now we got alot of button tap shots that requred nothing to get perfect release. Its time to give me back control of my jumpers

All the extended animations need to be redone;

1. release shots animations
2. steal animations
3. blk animations
4. unnecessary dribbles animations
5. shots animations.

There's really no fluidity in any of the animations. Shooting, blocking, stealing, dunking,... - all look horrible.
2k has been talking about revamping the animations, but they failed to pull it off.


They'll really have to step it up if they want to get my money ever again.

I don't have to read the OP's point as the Tread title gives me the "agree" stamp on it.

Jump shooting need to be really focused on this year as it make huge changes within the last few years in the areas of how fast a player jumps, to the apex of players shots. It kind of drives me nuts not really knowing what to expect year after year with how to preform accurate shots.

It look as though this is an area 2k is willing to overhaul/revamp as the 2k forums at the 2k website has a sticky for users to post who's jump shooting need to be edited. I'm really looking foward to see what 2k implements in 2k11 on this front.
