When in your career you get to the point when the only stat you can improve is speed. I like to do all the other things first because they make my stats a lot better, but when my series goal thing only asks me to improve speed, it seems unrealistic. When I'm 25 I don't get any steals, but when I'm 40 I get a ton!

I never made it that far to max out. But would be nice if there was a ceiling more like an RPG , where you cant max everything, rather you have to be smart about what you put points into, for one day you will lack them.

And nothing is stopping you from not dropping points anymore I guess. Also they should have it where when you age, there is a larger drop off of ratings, and harder to keep them up.

Goes back to a wish that they had a feature on what kind of player you want to be(speedy, power, etc).

It's a bug in 09. It will be fixed, so that once you reach a certain age, your stats decline faster.
