Insanity

Well, I've already done P90X. You can read all about it here: P90X

Next up - Insanity.

Since the other thread went so well, I figured I'd open this one up the same way. Has anyone ever done this? What are your results like? Was it everything you expected? Harder or easier than P90X?

I should be starting next Monday.

I lost enough definition from the past month because of an increased work schedule.

Plus it keeps me busy and my body going. Just trying to see if others want to follow suit.

stewaat Guest OVR:	Re: Insanity That looks like a very good weight loss program. I wouldn't do it if I were in bad shape, it is way to demanding. P90X looks like you can alter it to your own style. Insanity looks like hardcore from the start. No weights or anything? Hmmmmm Looks like strictly fat loss, which is a great tool for prepping for summer. I'm intrigued but I'm so set in my ways...haha

Insanity is more of your "typical" workout video. I now use insanity to replace kempo and plyometrics on P90x but thats all, I just didn't mesh well with it like I did p90x. Also, what left a bad taste in my mouth is when I ordered it, it was like scam after scam. If I didn't take like 20 minutes and read every line of everything, I prob would have accidentally bought like 100 bucks worth of stuff I dont want or need, idk it wasn't a good experience. I will say YES, its a good workout overall, sure smoked me, but i wasn't draw in by any aspect of it. Some days on P90x i would wake up like yes, lets do this. Insanity was a little more boring to me. my wife says its because Im a guy and we like our weights like in P90x, but idk. Im looking forward to hearing other guys impressions who were like me.

It may be because you want weight lifting in your workout. From what I understand, this doesn't have any. Mostly cardio.

Primarily for definition and possibly weight loss. Depends on your diet, I'm guessing.

I only do Insanity on my cardio days, because I can't stand the treadmill or running in general.
