What pc football game do you recommend?

I'm hoping to find something customizable with franchise mode, and fun.

Madden.

j/k...... Try MS's NFL Fever 2000. It was fun and customizable. There was even a community that made mods, including a USFL mod. Of course the grafix are dated:

Do you mean Madden 08? I believe that was the last one released for pc.

Is it customizable, and if so do you know where to download the best software/rosters?

Madden 2005 wasn't so bad, especially if you used the Manifesto. It was probably my favorite.

Plus, football-freaks has an 08 roster for it that is decent. And utilities such as global ratings editors and the like to really suit the game to your preferences.
