That someone can now make a legitimate petitions....

EA holds the license but will not be making another College hoops game(unless they bring back college hoops slam{college version of NBA Jam})

Hopefully EA will drop the license and we as consumers can hope that the NCAA drop the cost of the license and wish someone will pick it up and give us a game

You will see a 2 year cycle for college hoops games. This may be a good thing. With 2 years to put out a game there will be more then just new rosters changed every year. I like most fans of 2k8 would hope that 2k can get back in. Maybe they make a game one year and EA the next. Everyone wins.

I doubt that. It just gives them the right to use the logos, etc. If they choose to do nothing with it, that would be there prerogative. At least that is the way movie rights work. See the first Fantastic Four movie. I don't believe this would work all that differently.
