Plays/Formations to Add for NCAA 11

Please just add more differences between teams: Every team runs the same Power 0 play, which is fine, but every team also runs the same exact play action, with the same exact route combinations off that Power 0. It’s the same exact play action that’s in Madden. Just mix up some of the plays and make them team specific

More Pistol for many teams. (Bama, Indiana)

All Shotgun Teams:
--Bubble Screens/Slot Swing Pass are a must. They are a staple of every team’s passing game.

Ohio St
You can pretty much get Ohio St’s entire playbook from reading this site:
http://buckeyefootballanalysis.blogspot.com/

Ohio St. calls their HB Power play “Dave.” I think it’d be cool to add something like that to THEIR specific playbook, just rename all of the HB Power plays “Dave.” Then the Play Actions are “PA Dave.”

Here are their Tendencies halfway through this season:

Defense
Please overhaul defense. I feel like I've been calling the same exact plays or 10 years (Madden included). Everything feels way too basic. We need more pre-snap auto motion. Add more 1/4, 1/4, 1/2 coverages to help double certain WRs.

Give us hybrid schemes on defense. So many teams switched between the 4-3 and 3-4 this year with hybrid DE/LBs: USC, Ohio ST, Florida, Texas A&M, Oregon, Michigan, Wisconsin, Cincy, Army just to name a few.

Ohio St and USC use a ton of Double Eagle sets on D with a stand up DE.

Any other suggestions?

Re: Plays/Formations to Add for NCAA 11

Along with the specific team plays...like OSU's fake spread option pass variations...

There are some very basic plays missing:

1. Goalline fade route...how on Earth is this not in this or any football game?

2. End arounds and reverses off basic running plays. Everyteam should have this.

3. Hole specific running...some teams still use this.

For the love of God...they need to be able to set up your own playbooks.

OSU had the pistol in there playbook based on running it in 2008...they didn't run it once in 2009, yet it was in the new game.

They also need to add play progression. Here is what I mean:

1. Off tackle right
off that:
2. PA off tackle right
3. End around after fake off tackle
4. QB naked boot...both directions
5. counter off the off tackle play

This is really basic football...set up the defense with bread and butter...and make them pay when the defense commits. It's playing chess instead of checkers.

For USC, write up on Monte Kiffin's defense:

Video that includes LSU's Unbalanced Line, Oregon Masoli Keeper, and Oregon uncovered slot bubble screen.

Boise St
Their offense is actually pretty simple (other than the trick plays), but they use a TON of shifting and motion. I'd love to see this implemented into the game:
