The original Ghost Recon's were all FPS, in fact, you didn't even see your gun on screen.

You get a beta with Conviction but that's only if they ever release the Splinter Cell. At this rate its gonna be out before Splinter Cell is.

About time this game has been officially announced. Hopefully GR: FS will get this series back to first-person view and also lose the drones and radar.
