NBA Career Simulator Thread

I got the idea from salsa_dorito, and thought it would be awesome for NBA 2K10, since you can easily edit draft classes.


Here's how it works:

You post how you want your player to be created. I edit whoever is the lowest rated player in the draft class (using DaRebirth's) to be your CAP. I will sim the draft and your player will be assigned to a team and start his NBA career. You will guide your player through his career, demanding trades and whatnot. Essentially it is a different version of the My Player mode.

I will be the first CAP, at a 73 overall. The next person to sign up will also be a 73, then the next 2 will be a 70, the next 5 a 68, and everyone else can go no higher than a 65 (If there get to be too many people, which I doubt, then I will lower the maximum overall more). You can be as vague or precise with your ratings as you want, anywhere from "in the 50s or 60s" to 78. You don't necessarily have to own the game and can just give me guidelines for your CAP (think "a fast point guard who can hit 3s" or something along those lines). Don't even bother telling me what you want your clutch rating or potential to be*, and I will only put in a signature jumpshot, anything more is too much of a hassle.
