Thanks to all that helped with the Baltimore Orioles roster, and to N51_rob for making me an OS premium member.

Doesn't look that different to me through the glases, however it's a neat concept.

Well to be fair, we're only looking through one of the lenses. To be even fairer, we're watching this on a 2D screen haha. The concept of shooting footage of a 3D thing and displaying it on something 2D is almost... I don't know what the term is... I want to say "redundant", but that's not what I'm looking for. Kind of like filming something that's HD and then uploading it in SD. It defeats the purpose I suppose.

But either way, you still get an idea of what's going on in scope. In the video you sort of get a sense of depth, even though you don't grasp the concept in its entirety.

Agreed. I will have to see it "in person" to decide if I like it.

That's because the video's only looking through one of the lens

"Pointless" is as accurate a term as any.

D'oh! Easiest word to come up with, too. Thanks.

Though I was trying to come up with a term that specifically described the lengths taken to reach a goal that ends up being moot, like watching a rated R movie on TV for the violence. "Pointless" still fits the bill, but I think there was another word I was trying to use.
