RTTS Potential

the RTTS Potential rating is always GRADE:A, I think in next years version should have that rating based on how u play in the minors. just given my thoughts

The only way that would work is if they overhauled the whole training point system. Think about it - RTTS players don't progress in the same way that regular players do. They are considered "A" potentials because the training system allows them to reach those lofty ratings over time (assuming you do well in RTTS, of course). Basically, even if you lowered potential under the current system it wouldn't mean a thing by itself (maybe in trading or something, but do RTTS guys get traded?)

And, I'll add that messing with an RTTS player's potential is a dangerous game for the devs to play - it's not going to be a whole lot of fun if you know your potential limits you to bench warmer status. JMO, of course.

I think the OP is alluding to not having a fixed potential rating.
Like...
You would start with an A.....and if you perform and can maintain...you will stay an A
If you don't you may drop to a B....or if really bad to a C...maybe with the ability to play/train your way back up.
I guess at some point in your minor league career...your potential rating would get "locked" in and you'd have to hope it's enough to be a regular MLB player...or maybe a star player in the MLB.
