Hi all,

I am 13 wins and ZERO losses in manager mode. My confidence level is very high but yet my Manager's reputation stars is still only 1/2 star. Does anyone know of this is normal? Btw, my team is #1 on top of the Barclays Premiere league.

Yeah the game doesn't explain how you get a higher reputation but after certain win you get +3 or whatever and then it says something like +9 for next lvl. It might be because your using a powerhouse that wins aren't that surprising. But if you win Cups you should have a higher rep. I've lost Rep even after I crushed a team 6-0.

From what I've experienced, you gain reputation mostly for meeting the board expectations, as well as small gains from time to time like Alden mentioned. For example, I gained a half star for reaching the 4th round of the German cup, which was one of my objectives for the season. Also, I get a few rep points here & there for being on track with my other goal of finishing in the top half. I just got +3 for climbing into 1st place for the first time.

I think the point is that it will take you a few seasons to be 4 or 5 star manager.

yeah if you're trying to get the xbox achievement it should be no problem. I got it about half way through my fourth season.

Rep is gained by obtaining the expectations of the board. IE if you are suppose to finish in the top 4 they will check a few times and give you points based off where you are at that point. Also tournaments are a great place to gain rep. If you are using a lower ranked team who is suppose to win only one round you will gain rep every time you win an additional round. It does take a few seasons and a few trophies to get to 5 stars.

I won everything in MLS and my rep didn't go up at all. I think it's broken.

In mine, one of my goals was to finish in the top half of the Championship and the other was to get to the 2nd round of the FA Cup. I finished 2nd and won the FA Cup. I am now a 3.5 star manager.
