PS3 system, but i don't think it matters. In the older versions, we could virtually use 2 backs in different formations without having to manually sub in players for different formations. For example, with Miami, I could set my offense so that on any I-Formations or single back sets, I could have James in the backfield and on Shotgun formations with a single back, I could have Cooper in the backfield.

I have no idea why, but I can't find that option in 2010... Any idea if it is an option or not? Much appreciated.

Your looking for formation subs and it's been famously left out of next gen thus far.
