Happy birthday (batter)... I'll explain

This was new to me today. I'm playing the Show on PS2 as the Rockies in a franchise and was playing the Cubs. Milton Bradley was at the plate, working on an everyday hit streak, and was successful by lacing a single to right field. However, expecting them to mention how the hit streak continues and as Bradley gives the first base coach a five behind his back, Rex Hudler says, "Look at that. A hit on his birthday. Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you". Totally caught me off guard.

I know that the players just have ages on the game, but I was curious to see if the game was right. The game I played was on April 15th. I went to find Bradley's birthday and... you guessed it... April 15th. Has anybody else heard this?

It just makes you wonder how many details they put in the game that we don't know about. Talk about dedication from the team. They could just have that cutscene come up randomly, because most people would not check. Instead, they go the extra mile and get the little things right.

Yeah. But it gets praise from where it counts. True baseball fans like us.
