Fantasy Football Ethics Question

When it gets down to the end of the season, is it ok for the bad teams to trade their wanted players to higher teams for next to nothing?

I used to be against this, but then I saw that in most of the leagues I was in, it was seen to be commonly done, so I'm just looking for the opinions of the community.

I'm definitely against that. It's not allowed in the league I'm in.

Re: Fantasy Football Ethics Question

Shouldnt be allowed in any league imo as it ruins the integrity of the league and makes everything accomplished up to that point completely pointless. I take it your league doesnt have a trading deadline? I would think that would have passed already if there was one implemented.

Very unethical. That is why the trade deadline is implemented. At least with trades you can overrule them.

The real problem is scrubs that are out of the playoffs purposefully dropping say Chris Johnson and picking up Maurice Morris, leaving CJ open to the lower seeded playoff team that will pick him up first on priority.

I agree with everyone else. This is very unethical in my book. The only exception might be if it's a keeper league and you're trading for someone to use as a keeper. But even then, it should somehow balance itself out whether you get more players in return or an injured star that you can keep for next year (I'm thinking Brady from last year as an example). Otherwise, like others have mentioned, this screws up the integrity of the league.
