How's Your Dynasty Going?

I been playing this game almost non-stop in my free time. In about 3 days, I grabbed up Indiana St and got 9 games in.

I'm at 5-4 right now in my first season. Was on a 3 game win streak going into conference play. Then the Salukis dropped my like a bad habit. 73-69. But it wasn't as close at it would suggest. Was down 10 with a little over a minute to go. Started the intentional foul game, and fortunately the Salukis are shooting horribly from the FT line. They'd either miss the first of the 1 and 1, or hit 1 miss the second. Id run down court...fire up a quick three. Was about the only time during the game I was dropping threes lol.

Got Creighton up next...

Oh and recruiting, I filled my 3 scholarships, but no one spectacular. 2, 2* PFs, and a 1* SF. Was hurting with the lack of points that first season...They were defensive guys, so hopefully even tho they're low rated recruits, they'll help my weak defense. Especially with my star senior PF graduating after the year.

Re: How's Your Dynasty Going?

I chose Lehigh to be my REAL DYNASTY team ("real" means im not simming any games, nor put myself into the game. he he he.)

Im 1-5 right now and on the verge of a losing season, but im not gonna give up hope yet.

i got a pretty easy recruiting challenge (sign a 2 star center, 2 star shhoting guard, 2 star recruit.) and i already had commits on both so im pretty sure im getting more recruit points to waste/use by the off season and try to land some decent kids. im going to roll next year if in case i ended up a disaster of a season.

I need to win games now though.

No more BYU dynasty for me, the real season has started. make Lehigh a mid major power is the top priority.

Re: How's Your Dynasty Going?

I just started a new one and I am Indiana. I'm 1-1 beat Howard by 25. Then I went and lost to Ole Miss like real life by 11. I have Boston University tonight.

How is Jake Kelly doing for you?
How many ppg is he ave.?
They have him rated way too low on this game.
I am going to do an ISU dynasty eventually.

I am currently 14-3 and 5-1 in conf. in my Cincinnati dynasty.
I just beat ND last night 76-74, this game is fun as hell to play but the end of the game AI is horrible. Up two with 10 seconds to play ND fouls me. I miss the front end of the 1 and 1. ND calls a TO with 5.9 seconds to go with the ball at half court. They throw the ball into their pg at half court who proceeds to dribble the ball at half court. Finally with 1 second left he throws up a half court air ball. Game over, just horrible.
Below are some season stats.
Player
Vaughn 25 ppg
Gates 10 ppg 9 rpg 2 bpg
Stephenspon 12 ppg 7 apg
Bishop 7 ppg 6 rpg
Davis 10 ppg 5 apg

Once cool thing is the last game Vitale was talking about how Vaughn was ave. 25ppg and how if he kept it up he would be playing in the NBA next year. I thought that was cool as hell.

Re: How's Your Dynasty Going?

I play as Georgetown in my dynasty and I'm three games going 3-0, defeating the likes of Tulane, Temple, and Lafayette. Tulane gave me the biggest scare in the first game of the season.

Recruiting is going well so far. I'm hot on the trail of two Centers, one 5-star from Louisiana and a 4-star from my own DC area. With three scholarships to fill I would love to have both of them but with only 70 recruiting points for the season, I don't think it's possible while trying to add depth to other parts of my team.

Freshman Hollis Thompson has been a threes machine hitting almost 58% from beyond the arc. C Greg Monroe has been dominant down low scoring 14/game while grabbing nine rebounds a game.

Next game is against Mt. Saint Mary followed by American and then onto a tough week with Butler and Washington...

idk much about the guy, but I've found him to play pretty good for me. I was letting auto subs take care of my subs for a bit, but it annoyed me, they never put him in. So now I roll manual style subs.

So he's recently over the past 2 games been getting more minutes. He gets 5 pts 2 boards off the bench for me. I'm sittin at 8-4 right now. (2-1 or 3-1 in conference) Lost my first conf game to the Salukis.

My favorite go to guy tho is Joe Crawford 19 pts, 9 boards, 2 asts, and a block per game

Kelly is a transfer from Iowa, he ave 12 ppg for Iowa last year and is ave 11 ppg for ISU this year. IRL Crawford is not that good, he is ave. 4 ppg this year.
