Jason2112s AC Sliders (XBox 360)

Hey guys, I just thought I would put up my slider adjustments on here because I'm not seeing many 360 sliders posted. My method for adjusting sliders is to play the computer with the same team. For instance, I used Tulsa vs. Tulsa last night. After several games with different teams, I try to get equal stats across the board and a close score. When I feel like there is a good balance and the teams are very equal, I stick to those sliders. When I went into overtime, I knew I had 'em set. Note: this is a guideline for you to start with. Set these up and then play the same teams against each other and adjust according to your own ability, as I have. Have fun! Also, if I don't mention a certain slider, leave it at 50. I put the commentary volume down on 4 to keep my sanity. One more thing, put foul out at 4 because I play with 10 minute halves.
Difficulty level- AC
Game speed 46
Shooting foul 73
reach in 68
charge/block 72
fatigue 100 (because I play with 10 minute halves)
ft difficulty 70 (If you are playing at a 25 toughest place, set at 30)
boundary force field 55
in-air foul 72

user steal 100
user interception 100
user shot 31
user dunk block 32
user off reb 56
user short range 44
user med range 44
user long range 46
user sink or swim 33
user post strength 75
user shot alter 60
user hands in post 85
user hands on perimeter 72

cpu steal 40
cpu interception 65
cpu shot block 30
cpu dunk block 27
cpu off reb 43
cpu short range 44
cpu medium range 43
cpu long range 49
cpu sink or swim 33
cpu shot alter 57
cpu hand in post 57
cpu hands on perimeter 57

Not sure about AA yet. I'm happy as of right now with the stats I'm getting. If I find myself beating up on the CPU, I'll try it. Let me know how it goes if you try AA.

Re: Jason2112s AC Sliders (XBox 360)

Finally got through a whole game and this is how it went:

Georgetown vs. Washington
72 Score 67
27 Reb. 30
19 Ast. 18
2 Stl. 4
7 Blk. 6
10 Fouls 15
8 TO 14
6 FT 7
32 FT% 64
30 FG 28
49 FG% 47
6 Three Att. 4
38 Three % 32
24 D Reb. 27
3 O Reb. 3

I played 20-minute halves and I let the CPU shoot my FTs for me because if I didn't my FT would've been 0%. I'll be keeping these sliders, both teams came out smoking hot and cooled off in the 2nd half. I was down nine at the half and came back with about 9 minutes left. But there must have been about ten lead changes and four ties throughout the game. It was fun, just need to knock down those FTs....

One problem I had was the CPUs penchant for getting so many and-1's...Five in a row I counted, so I moved up the Shot Alter Ability sliders for USER, seemed to help.

Re: Jason2112s AC Sliders (XBox 360)

Played another game with these and I'm having to move the FT Difficulty Slider down with the CPU shooting only 33% from the line! I won 69-67 against Old Dominion. They had me ALL game until the five-minute mark in the 2nd half.

I also had to lower the CPU's Short Range and Layup Percentage sliders because they were hitting EVERY inside shot, I'm not exaggerating either. They would throw it inside and they'd go straight up with it or fadeaway and hit EVERYTHING, so I'm decreasing those two sliders.

My next game is against Harvard at home, I will try and post stats.

Re: Jason2112s AC Sliders (XBox 360)

Here is what I'm working with right now. I beat Harvard today 67-55

Global Settings

Difficulty- All-Conference
Game Speed- 46
Shooting Foul- 75
Reach In Foul- 75
Charge/Blocking Foul- 75
Fatigue Rate- 99
FT Difficulty- 75

User/CPU Settings

Steal Ability- 95/30
Int Ability- 95/60
Shot Block Ability- 20/30
Dunk/Layup Block Ability- 30/35*
Off Rebound Ability- 53/40
Def Rebound Ability- 50/50
Fakeout Discipline- 50/50
Short Range- 50/40*
Medium Range- 50/50
Long Range- 50/50
Dunk %- 50/50
Layup %- 50/35
Drop Step- 50/50
Sink/Swim- 35/35
Def Post Strength- 75/50
Shot Alter- 75*/50
Fight Thru Screen- 50/50
Hands in Post- 75/50
Hands on Perimeter- 55/45

Here's what I changed and why:

  1. Increased USER Shot Alter from 50 to 75. I found that the CPU was making EVERY shot inside when they were fouled. And 1's are not uncommon but five or six in a game when you foul the CPU maybe ten times is WAAAAAAY too much.
  2. Decreased CPU Short Range Shooting slider because they were making everything in the post from fadeaways to miraculous hookshots from guys who should not be making those shots let alone be scoring them with any consistency.
  3. Decreased CPU Lay-Up Percentage slider, I feel it made them pass out of the post a bit more and take mid-range and long-range jumpers.
Let me know what you think, J.

Re: Jason2112s AC Sliders (XBox 360)

hey jason been playing with your sliders on ps3 last couple of days and things have been playing pretty good. one issue i'd like to check with you on is the one on one contact suction animations...is there a slider or anything that would decrease the regularity of that? just curious...

Not that I know of man. I've made a few adjustments to these sliders and I'm VERY happy with the results I'm getting. Everything is looking pretty realistic stat wise so I'm stoked.
