Lou's Legends: My Notre Dame Franchise

Ok so here is a quick boring introduction to my franchise, the fun part will start in around an hour or so on the next post which I will be reserving. To get a few things stated first off, I will be using the player's real names until all of the current Notre Dame player's have left the school. Ill put an * next to the players that are generated names until it is all generated players. Ill be starting my first season on the default varsity level, which is pretty good for my skill level, or lack there of. I hope you guys enjoy this franchise and ill be getting everything up and the season running by 12 AM central time.

Lou Holtz Starts New Series on ESPN

South Bend Indiana-Former Notre Dame coach and current ESPN college football expert Lou Holtz has announced a new series he will be running this football season called "How to win your ball games." Holtz has already promised to give his incite on how Notre Dame can win their games and try to take another title back to South Bend. When current Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis was asked about Holtz's promise he said, "it never hurts having on the the greatest coaches in Notre Dame history and of all time tell you ways to win your football games." The Irish open up the season this Saturday against the Nevada Wolfpack, Let's see what Holtz has to say Friday to help the boys win their game.

Stunning Depth Chart Change for Notre Dame

South Bend Indiana-Today it was announced that Running Back Robert Hughes has won the starting job this season. No one expected Armando Allen to loose his starting spot for his entire college career, and either did he. When asked about the situation Allen responded, "The kid is a great Running Back, he's strong and won't go down without a fight. I'm not going to lie and say this isn't surprising to me, I'm just going to have to use it as motivation to get back my job." Head Coach Charlie Weis was asked about the change in the interview he announced the change in and here is what he had to say, "I really like Robert with the ball, he may not be the fastest guy on the field, but he is definitely one of the strongest. He will help our run game this season and will be a big part of our offense." Notre Dame's first game is in just a few days and we will see how Hughes can do.

Re: Lou's Legends: My Notre Dame Franchise

Lou Holtz's "How to Win Your Ball Games" Week 1

What Notre Dame Needs to do to Beat Nevada

1. Show Robert Hughes that he deserves the job and run the ball a lot
2. Play solid defense, the defense needs to use this game to work out the problems for the rest of the season.
3. Get good first down yardage, you want to move down the field fast and make it so the offense does not need to go as far on second and third down.
4 Loosen up those muscles, it is the first game of the season and your not playing the best team, get yourself lose and prepared for the next 11 games you have to play.
5. No third down conversions, you guys need to get the defense off the field fast and keep them rested for the rest of the season.

Lou Says- Notre Dame wins
