Re: Allen Iverson RETIRING

I feel...... nothing. Is that weird?

His legacy is obviously tainted by his selfish attitude at the end.

Re: Allen Iverson RETIRING

Do you guys consider A.I. a first ballot hall of famer? Or is he borderline like Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Stephon Marbury?

Yes 1st ballot but Stephon Marbury isn't even close to being borderline Hall of Famer

Agreed.

I've gone from a huge Iverson fan...to one who is bitterly dissapointed by him. His legacy now is that he'll be remembered as a whiney little.....who came to represent everything that was bad about the NBA during his era. Selfish / me first / "too good to do whatever the team needs".

I thought for years that all he needed to do was get out of Philly...that he could be a great second guy on a championship team...that he would happlily play ANY role to try and get a championship ring.

All wrong.

He cared about himself and pretty much nothing else. That will be his legacy.

He dropped so low even the worst ever Knicks team didn't want him for the min. salary. That says it all.

A real dissapointment.
