Editing this post since I'm still trying to figure out how the tiebreakers work.

After four simmed seasons, I'm thinking:

1) Conference record (pretty sure this is #1)
2) Division record (maybe, not sure)
3) ???????????

Not true. In the OS Official Franchise the Titans got in over the Texans when both had 8-8 records. Texans beat the Titans both games.

Hmm, maybe online franchises have different tiebreakers than the offline one?

I just simmed three seasons in an offline franchises and every time a tiebreak came up it awarded it in alphabetical order.

Are you sure the teams didn't have a better conference record? Up until this point every tiebreaker I've seen has gone to the team with the best conference W/L record. The alphabetical thing could just be a coincidence

I know I have seen another post on this as well. Didn't search for it, but you might try the forum search to see if you can find the other thread.

Ah, good catch!

Just simmed season 4 and had my first anomoly, so it looks like it may have been a coincidence with the team names.

The first tiebreaker appears to be conference record.

After that, I'm leaning towards division record since that's how it awarded it in this season 4 sim.

It's definitely not points for/points against. Will keep simming to see if I can find out for sure what's after conference record.
