I'm An NBA Live Player *Help Convert Me!*

Hey everyone! I've played live every year since its debut, but wanted something a little bit different so I picked up NBA Live this year. Here's the problem...I'm a HUGE presentation guy. That's 90% of the reason NFL 2k5 still gets rotation in my 360. NBA Live was lacking in presentation, although the crowd atmosphere was awesome.

I haven't picked up Live in weeks - mainly because of the presentation, but also really want a solid franchise mode. I've looked around and seen a few videos and impressions, but would really like to know what some of you think about the presentation specifically and what 2k does that Live doesn't do. Also, how are stats playing 5 minute quarter games? With Live, I had to play 10 - 12 minute quarters and I just didn't have that much time.

The presentation with nba 2k is very good. I don't think you will be disappointed. Do you have any specific questions?

I suggest searching youtube and you will get a good feel for it.

IF you have patience and dont mind tweaking this is the best bball game this year. Live is defently on the right page but this year is there stepping stone. Next year is the year that there will be a small gap between the two. For me this year, the variety of players and everyone playing to there real life counterparts. I love playing against the spurs and ginobli comes off the bench for a quick 20. When this game plays correctly, it cannot be beat by anything. IF you happen to pick this up do not play past all star level or youll start seeing all of the glitches this has to offer.

I have both games and enjoy both very much. Since getting the patch for both games, I have been playing Live more however, the 2k patch did wonders to the game play. It almost changed the whole game for me, for the better. (Don't jump on me, just being honest.) They are both good games. I wish I could take the outside game of Live, add it to the inside game of 2k, take 2k's presentation and commentary with Live's crowd and make the perfect game. As far as playing 5 min. quarters, all I can say is that I play 10 min. quarters in Live and 12 min. quarters for 2k. I think 2k plays slower, at least it does for me. I wish I would have just purchased 1 game so I didn't compare the two all the time. Any specific questions about the difference just leave here and I will answer for you.

2K10's presentation is far better than Live10. Do you also know after each quarter when you see highlights of that quarter you can add custom sounds so that it plays NBA on NBC, TNT, ABC, ESPN, FSN, ect. You can also customize your tipoff music, timeout music, ect.
