Trading & Releasing problems!!!

I am having trouble releasing Iverson in my association. The game will not give me the option. What's the problem.
I call myself chooseing all teams at the begining of the season and now it randomly switches teams I can control to trade. what's up with that?

In the GM menu, go into the "Staff" menu. Bring up the team you want to make a roster move for. Back out and go make the move your move in the Manage Roster section. Hope that helps.

Yeah, he's exactly right.

You can't make a roster move unless you're set on THAT team at the time.

You can also change the team you are controlling by going to the calander screen and pressing the trigger buttons, saving you from having to go through the staff menu every time you want to switch.

There's another workaround if you're not controlling 30 Teams in Association Mode. You could choose "Resign Position" then choose whatever team you want to control (release player/trade to another team). Then do whatever you want to do with the player. Auto-save kicks in.

Then resign position again, choose your original team.

If you care, by doing this method you lose all your reward points that you have built up. Also, you lose all reward point progress.

You regain your monthly drills for that month though.

I know most of you don't care about reward points and development drills because you don't use them, I'm just warning those who do.
