Free agents in "season mode"

I promise i searched the internet for an answer on this issue, but couldn't find one...sorry if this has been discussed, but i just want to know this before i buy the game.

First off, i heard there was no free agent list in "season mode" this year like there was in NBA2k9. I was really hoping there would be so i would be able to keep up w/ all the real-life trades/lineup shifting. From what i Remember last year in season mode you could control roster moves for all teams by releasing players and then signing them from free agent pool. But this year i hear that the free agent pool is missing in "season mode"?? I heard they were going to patch it but i didn't see that in the patch update list. Does anyone have any information on this issue?

we're looking at the same page bro, but we're not lucky this year to have FA in season mode. and more dissapointing this year in season mode is that you have to control all the teams for us able to release/waive a player or else we can just control the team that we select. bad year bad year for those who use season mode.... =(
