Is there a reason nobody plays 15 minute quarters?

I've been looking at some of these slider sets and no one plays a real college game it doesn't seem like. Most everyone shortens the game so I'm left looking for a slider set without the 15 minute time limit.

I'm guessing it has something to do with getting realistic stats? I like to play the full 15 minutes though, I can't imagine playing a shortened game.

Anyone else feel this way?

How many pass attempts and rush attempts do you generally take during a 15minute quarter game? and if you play every snap of that game how long does it take to finish?

I think the answers to those questions will answer your question.

With 7 minute quarters I was getting 85-90 plays per team, way too many. 15 would be double that. I will stick with 6 and get 120 combined.

Because we don't want our scores getting up to 150.

Way too long man.

Re: Is there a reason nobody plays 15 minute quarters?

Yes, because it is more important to get the correct number of plays on average than to play 15 minute quarters. You will have waaaaay too many plays if you do that because of the nature of how these games are (meaning not realistic, lol).
Do a google of what the average number of plays is. If I remember correctly it is between 120-130 plays, but don't quote me. Then it will vary from 8-10 minute quarters for most people depending on how quickly you pick plays, etc.
But, if that's how you want to roll, by all means knock yourself out

How long does it actually take to play a full game using 15 minute quarters? Half a day?

In college, my roommate and I played a Madden game with 15 min quarters. Packers vs Chiefs. Game took us almost 3 hrs (we only took 2 breaks of about 5 min each). Final score was 117-97
