Is anyone going to keep MLB 09 permanently?

MLB 09 is the first game that I've actually been able to complete a 162 game season with every game played(i won only 55 games, but the fact I was still engrossed in such a bad season tells a lot), and I have come on the board and seen Knight's new end of season set(which is absolutely AMAZING by the way), and it got me wondering if I should just edit attributes and keep playing 09 through next season as well with Knight's rosters, considering I'm a college student now and I don't know if I'll quite have time to play 162 games in a new game, and the way MLB 09 plays, it feels so perfect in sliders/etc, so if it ain't broke why fix it? Is anyone else considering just doing this?

I keep all the versions and have everyone since the series started. To answer your question I will not skip 10 to just keep playing 09.

Wow! You really played 162 games and won 55 good for you. We should all be so lucky to find sliders that challenge us this much. May I ask

Did you use Knights opening day roster set or SCEA's?
What level did you play on?
What slider set did you use? Did you modify them at all to suit you?

Haha, to answer your question, I used default Hall of Fame, with Knight's opening day rosters. I get SO many different games with Hall of Fame, for the most part I lost most of my games by 1-2 runs(and in typical Mets fashion my bullpen blew half of my games :-/). I'd also blame David Wright being out 3 months as a result of such a bad record too haha(and the fact like the real Mets, I did NOT hit home runs. Beltran had 26, but after him the next most was Tatis with 7, but I also had Delgado with about 14 but I traded him at the deadline).

I use Knights version 5 with Psycho's all star sliders.

I just like to hears others perspective of the game.

No it isn't too easy....it's actually as challenging of a game that I've ever seen.

Jim, what slider set have you been successful with...I like Psycho's, but am having a hard time getting the fielder speed, and arm strength to coincide with base running speed....
