Question about the "emotion" attribute

Why is this an attribute that you can assign points to? Like when you doing your developmental drills, who would waste points on the emotion attribute? Also, lets say your player is Expressive with a 50 emotion rating, or you have a laid back player with a 99 emotion rating...whats the difference?

Really? What about Kevin Martin? I don't look at him as one of the emotional players in the NBA, but he was second in FTA after Dwight.

Re: Question about the "emotion" attribute

I always thought it had to do with how they handled their minutes/roles during the season.

I'm probably wrong, it's just a complete guess.

Re: Question about the "emotion" attribute

I thought it was simply an animation booster.

The higher the rating, the more likely they will LOOK like they are complaining when the refs make a call NOT in their favor

LOL...that's what I think too, which is stupid because who would waste attribute points on that?

Re: Question about the "emotion" attribute

On the 2k boards they said it affects how much you draw fouls. they all seemed to agree on that.

I wouldn't know because I ain't spending points on that! Maybe in my sophomore year.

Re: Question about the "emotion" attribute

I actually threw some points into it to see if it would do anything. It is pretty cheap so no big deal. I draw some fouls but not really many more. I don't know. I may throw some more into it once I get a few other things taken care of.
