Question On Who To Guard In My Player Mode

Is there a way to easily tell who you're supposed to guard in My Player mode? Several times I've been chastised because I was guarding the wrong tall dude (I'm a power forward). I could've sworn there was an option you could set that would display something over the player that you were supposed to be guarding, but I can't find it anywhere in the options menu. It's just very frustrating when my team grade goes down from an A- to a B right at the end of the game when I'm subbed in and picked the wrong tall dude to guard and the one I should've been guarding scores.

Isn't there like arrows attached to your player circle or whatever that point to your matchup?

Same in the PC version as well.

OP, make sure you have "Who to Guard" under Coach Settings turned ON.

Sweet. Didn't even realize those little indications were there. Thanks for the help.

For some reason I didn't notice the arrows and blue circle around the guy I was supposed to guard until yesterday. It makes life a lot easier.

Re: Question On Who To Guard In My Player Mode

I have the same problem... I usually cut off all visual aids in normal mode and it carries over to my player mode. Don't know if I can change it back. I'm a point guard, and its never a problem until they sub me in at 2 guard - which they are starting to do more and more frequently. Lol. Honestly though... it's quite realistic if you've played organized ball before. When your subbed in, if the guy coming out doesn't tell you who he was guarding it may take a minute to find out. I wish the game would just update your match up at the same time they flash what position you've subbed in for.

I'm going to keep playing like it is for the challenge and realism of it.
