i was downloading some player dna and the game froze....while auto saving.

i go to load the roster and its corrupt.

im devastated.

and im not going through all that again.

im going to have to fix up tendencies and stuff. but man...this really sucks.
i had this game rockin! and was about to release it.

autosave is the devil, allways has been, allways will be ...

corrupt = not loading for you ? I assume you tried restarting the console and also tried to duplicate the file in the memory unit via the system settings for the xbox360 ? (helped me with some not-loading save files for PES a while back)

another idea : Can you still upload the roster via the 2K share menu in features ? If it works, then download it and see what happens ? Or another one downloads it, maybe it opens for him and he can upload it for you again ?

long shots, but in desperate times...

No backup ? Damn people, play more PC games and you´ll never do anything without at least 3 backups ...

Seriously though : This blows, was really looking forward to it Can totally understand that you wouldn´t go through this again, here´s still hoping you will though.

yeah i know i messed up by having no backup...im kicking myself man..
the amount of hours i have lost. really dissapointed.

i re rated every player.
i re did potential.
i improved the shot tendencies... simmed stats were ON POINT.
i got the guard simmed reb numbers up, and some forwards assist numbers up.
i fixed up the drive and dish tendencies to the best that the game engine would allow.
i combed over the coach profiles to improve the gameplay and simmed stats.
i redid all rotations and situationals.

i mean i did it all. and its all gone away.

im going to hit up rashidi and ask him if he would like to team up to make a super roster? its my only chance at getting this game on point. i cant play the default rosters after playing with mine.

he can do all ratings, and when he has completed every team, i will do the tendencies and coach profiles etc to get the simmed stats and single player gameplay on point..now that would be a great roster.
its just whether he is willing.

well i am so glad that you decided to redo it again...that does suck about losing everything....i'm ready to be able to sit down and actually enjoy the game......alot of potential, but i do agree it needs ratings and roster edits bad to make it playable....2k needs to take the time to do. The Kickout Tendency on the players is absolutely ridiculous....

thanks a ton. Like said i will most likely design draft classes based on your roster with more variety of player types (pure shooters, shooting big men, pure rebounders etc), maybe you´ll like them and thus i can return the favour a bit.
I´ll design them beforehand and then fit the (shot) tendencie´s as well as some neuralgic ratings (speed/quickness for bigs, 3point shooting) towards what you have set as "boundaries" for certain players playing certain roles.

like said again : Take a look at a couple created draft classes, the "attack" "pass out" balance actually makes sense there and the drive tendency is filled out (default all at 0), which can be used as a template for what the default guys should get.

Don´t want to burry you with aditional work, just an idea and if it weren´t for you i´d do it myself for sure. But i wouldn´t get your results on first try so i kind of go the lazy route here i am afraid ...
But if you need help in some "batch-editing" (like "lower all of attribute X by 5) don´t hesitate to say sth.
