I vote yes. I know it's probably a little premature for a thread like this, but I'm curious what some of you guys are thinking right now. Even with it's faults, this is the most engaging game of basketball that I've ever played.

IMO, it plays extremely well so far, but I haven't started a season yet, just some Play Now games. I love the arena sounds and ambiance. But this feels like a 'reboot' year for Live with all the trimmings coming in Live 11 and Live 12.

I need to spend more time with this game in season mode and see how it goes...looking great so far but up until this game came out, 2k8 was top bball game for me.

I'd say NO but, it's close but, not yet there. IMO there are still to many WTF moments instead of WOW moments. But, the turn around from 1 year is outstanding and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next year. Both bball games are doing what they are supposed to do, and that's to make the other one better. Competition is great for sports video games.

It's nearly the best, but not guite mainly due to the CPU AI doing some really STUPID things that p' me off sometimes. Such as invincibe layups and some superman blocks. Overall a great game though.
