Re: Anyone upgrading to Windows 7?

Got my free upgrade from my company a while ago. I don't use it at home since I'm a Mac user but it is a lot more efficient than Vista. The GUI was not only enhanced but rebuilt (FINALLY) with 7 so it much faster and also uses less RAM.

I would recommend doing it if you feel the need to.

Using less RAM is good. Vista eats RAM for breakfast lol. It would just be for personal use, so I am debating whether or not I have better things to spend the $120 on.

Re: Anyone upgrading to Windows 7?

Not planning on upgrading for awhile - Vista has worked out just fine for me over the past 2 years since I got my (then) new PC.

I do like what I'm reading about 7, though.

Re: Anyone upgrading to Windows 7?

Used the pre-order deal with Amazon a couple of months ago so it's 49.99 for me, with free shipping.

I still don't see the need to to upgrade from XP.

Re: Anyone upgrading to Windows 7?

Windows 7 is awesome. Installed it on the new PC I just built. After using it for a day, I went and upgraded my laptop's RAM just so I could upgrade from XP to 7.
