NCAA 10 Make or break issue...

The video looks great for this game. Problem is that all videos usually do.

Will the gameplay be smooth this year??? I hated the game chopping and freezing for a split second every time a defensive rebound was grabbed. I returned this game within days just because of how awful the gameplay was.

Both NCAA football and basketball suffer from slow, choppy, and irresponsive gameplay and menus. NCAA footballs playcall menu is the worst.

Will I be playing NCAA bball 10 this year, or still playing my college hoops 2k8????

I can't understand how people are waying their opinions of this game based on a video, does not mean alot.

Everything in the video was captured from playing actual games (In case that was one of your concerns). I'm guessing you are wondering more about how the gameplay feel. The best way for me to answer that is to say that when you play Live 10 you should get a good sense of how NCAA will feel as we are on the same gameplay engine for the second year now. Hope that helps.

First off, it is weighing not waying. And the guy above me is right, i wasnt weighing my opinions based off the the video. I was going from my experience with last years product.

Thanks. I appreciate a NCAA producer answering my post. The only problem is that I didnt play Live 09 other than the demo and the same thing goes with Live 10. Im a 2k guy in pro bball.

But since EA makes the only NCAA bball game i really have no choice. I noticed a small amount of freezing or framerate skipping when grabbing a defensive board and changing progression. The menus in college games are always choppy and irresponsive though.

But thanks again for answering. I hope this game will be good. Did you guys think of taking any ideas from the Madden team and make the college bball game more like what you see in real life. 2k8 had that tourney show and weekly show and all that. It was pretty good.

The thing thats gonna make or break this one for me is if you will still be able to tell if a shot is going in or not once it leaves youre hand. I had to return last years game after a week because I easily noticed that any time the ball had a special arc on it, it was always going in. No special arc, always missed. It ruined the game for me. I could put up with occasional lag here and there and other little problems, but not losing all the excitement of a game by knowing if a shot is going in or not. There was less telegraphing in Lakers vs. Celtics.

The videos this week will hopefully answer this question. Real life was a definite focus for us this year.
