Is The Only Difference In Association the menus?

From the screens it the only difference from last year is a cosmetic change to menus. If that's true, that's some bull****. I think 2k is getting in basketball like EA has been in football.

You can also have actual practices with your team in Association this year. And there's also the D-League that you can send your players to. 10-day contracts are now in the game. Restricted and unrestricted free agents. And there's more. The biggest draw for me though is bringing back the monthly calendar view in Association.

and they have added the nbdl and 10 day contracts as well.

EDIT: beat me to it Onpoint.

Other than that it does look pretty similar to previous years from what i have seen.

Re: Is The Only Difference In Association the menus?

Why do people think every year theyre going to get an entirely different game? The association mode was already good, why completely change it? Adding a fully playable NBDL is amazing, being able to create and import your own draft classes, 10 day contracts, restricted free agents, this is all new stuff. Of course there are things that I would of liked to have seen added this year like dynamic attendance and draft day trades but ill take what we got this year.

NBA Today (do your homework on this one)
NBA D-League
2K Share Draft Classes
30 User Controlled Teams
Live Practice
Restricted Free Agency
New Player Progression System
League History (in NBA.com)
10-Day Contracts
Online Association Games w/friends
Built-In Web Blogging (you guys haven't heard about this one yet)
In-Game Saves
+ More (smaller items)

If you think we only upgraded the menus, you clearly have us confused with our competition's franchise mode.

Built in web blogging? You guys are slowly teasing us all the way down to actual release it seems. Either way I'm pumped about association because of the NBA today intergration and presentation alone. Curious about this web blogging stuff though.
