More stadiums for 10?

I looked around, but I didn't see anything about this. Do we know if there will be more stadiums for this year's installment? Especially for the Premier League, seeing as how there's really only 5 or 6.

Here is what I gathered from a press release. These are new ones.

Bernabeau (Free Download On Launch Day)
Estadio Chamartin
Court Lane
Arena D’oro

Are Court Lane and Arena D'oro fictional stadiums again? I googled and didn't find any matches. What's the point of adding MORE fictional stadiums?

Re: More stadiums for 10?

I guess the needs the fake, generic stadiums to make-up for all the smaller grounds not included. In some smaller leagues, such as MLS, alot of the newer stadiums are kind of built the same, and could probably pass for each other. Saves alot of expense for the dev team, too.
Hopefully I can select my home stadium, because they seem to screw-up Toronto's home pitch every year.

They should add the Amsterdam Arena (Ajax Amsterdam) it has been in the game before! Furthermore, add De Kuip (Feyenoord Rotterdam) and PSV Stadium (PSV Eindhoven). They are all in the dutch Eredivisie. A home game with Ajax does not feel like a home game because of this. I wouldn't mind paying a few Euros for it, if it would be downloadable.

Re: More stadiums for 10?

In a cool feature this year, not only can you now change each team's home stadium in the game, you can also rename the stadium specifically for that team only...eg: Fiorentina's default stadium is 'O Dromo' (one with a running track around). I switched it to a generic 'Stadio Classico' and was able to rename it to "Artemio Franchi" just for Fiorentina home games! I'm more than happy with this feature - you can even see what weather conditions and time of day features are applicable to each stadium when changing them!

Unfortunately, despite already downloading the FREE Santiago Bernabeu from the Marketplace, i can't seem to set a team's stadium to that...so Real Madrid are still set to play at 'Estadio Chamartin' but i guess i can just rename it just for them!

Also i noticed that teams that have their own stadium in the game CANNOT have their home stadium changed nor renamed. Teams like Barcelona and Man Utd etc simply do not appear in the "Edit Stadiums" sub menu...hardly an issue though.

Re: More stadiums for 10?

EA has made huge strides in this game, however, their lack of quality stadiums is evident. For one, get rid of St. James Park. I know it's historic and everything but Newcastle are no longer in the Prem. Instead add Man City's stadium or even add Celtic Park/Ibrox. Well here's a link with all the stadiums and the new weather for those stadiums.
