how is the passing? is it still fairly difficult for the user compared to 09? having trouble with the manual passing, is this a good middle ground?

Re: Flyermania's NHL 10 Sliders

So I see that CPU aid is set to hardcore, and manual passing is off, with the pass assist slider set at halfway.

I'm curious to see what the practical effect of that will be. I guess I've been having difficulty understanding what the CPU aid slider is all about, and how it differs from the passing settings.

These are solid settings to start with! Most realistic hockey I've ever played.

Re: Flyermania's NHL 10 Sliders

am I correct in thinking that the CPU Difficulty slider doesn't affect AI but only gives the CPU players a speed boost?

Re: Flyermania's NHL 10 Sliders

What's the difference between manual passing on and off.

I'm having trouble controlling passes. Even the simplest pass seems to be off target.

Is there a setting where I aim where to pass, press the pass button, and the accuracy of the pass is dependant on ratings, not my precise aiming of the left stick. I like that they made passing harder, but if Chris Pronger wants to pass to another defenseman 10 feet away, he shoud hit that pass.
