Drop passes?

I recall seeing a video on gamespot showing a drop pass being made by Pavel Datsyuk in NHL 10 where he literally drops the pass between his legs and zetterberg hammers a slapshot in practice mode. Does anyone know how to do the drop pass? I will try to youtube it and post it if I can find it again. This would add a great feature to the game and would make a very realistic game even more ralistic. great job EA!!!... Now if only we can do what your videos show.
