CITY FULL OF YOUNGSTERS

Adam Jackson closed the transfer window at 5:00 PM today with lots of deadline day activity. He got rid of five un-wanted players, including moany Brazilian 'keeper Adriano Basso. Four youngsters were also offloaded in what Adam Jackson called "getting some weight off the teams shoulders." Here are the teams sellings on Deadline Day.

The biggest coup of the Championship had to be Obertan. He's only just joined Manchester United from French side Bordeaux this summer, but he'll be hoping to gain some first-team experience with City, and learn how to play the English game. Barnes has been frozen out at Fulham after spending most of last season out injured, and he still looks quite a talent. Parejo impressed in England whilst on loan with QPR, and Saivet is a former team-mate of Obertan, so he should fit in well. Alnwick looks tobe back-up to Dean Gerken, and finally the left-back signed from promoted Wolves, George Elokobi, is expected to rotate with Jamie McAllister. It's been a god summer of signings for Adam Jackson, let's hope the start of season form won't change in the upcoming weeks.
